Dr. Sarah Schecter, Head of Lower School

September 19, 2025
Dear Lower School Parents,
Last week, I visited all of the classes in Lower School to talk about Let Grow projects. It was interesting to hear all of the students share ideas about their projects for this grading period. Some plan to try new foods, overcome a fear, learn something new, take their training wheels off their bikes, plan a family party, or run an errand. They are very excited to achieve their goals. I reminded them to talk with you about their ideas and remember to take a photo. You do not need to wait until we return from Fall Break to send photos. Students may bring them to me as soon as they complete this first project. If you have questions, refer to the September 5 weekly E-News.
Our word of the month is Flexibility. We continue to consider how we can change our minds, change our behavior, and change our attitude.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Sarah Schecter
